Bio: Shoes started fishing at around 7 years old, joining his Dad on trips and having little competitions on who would catch the most, he claims that if it wasn’t for these trips, he doesn’t  think he would be in the industry today. He started carp fishing properly at around 15 years of age, after spotting a large carp whilst on a fishing trip on the canal with his father, and vowing to himself to catch one of a similar size. From that day on he was hooked, and tells us: “I would walk miles with my gear to the nearest lakes to catch small single figure carp. Once I could drive then the world was my oyster”. He's featured in many magazines over the years, one of which dubbed him 'The Trickster' as he would always come up with new ways to do things within angling. Shoes is a very forward thinking angler and has brought to the industry a large number of products which are still being used today by many. Shoes loves nothing more than designing fishing tackle and has been doing it for a very long time, being involved with new ideas and developments is something which really makes him tick.
