Bio: I began fishing when I got my first graphic design job after studying the subject. It turned out the company I went to work for was DHP, publishers of Total Carp and Advanced Carp magazines, and after a couple of months just soaking everything around me in, I decided to get a few bits together and go angling with some mates who had been doing it since they were kids. Fast-forward about 15-years and carp-fishing is a pretty big part of my life, with a busy job working on the media side of things for Trakker, running a small syndicate water, and trying to cram in as much fishing time as possible, whilst trying to juggle the responsibilities of being a family man with three kids, a better half and a small dog with an attitude problem. I’ve fished all kinds of waters in my time angling, but I’m happiest when stalking – there’s just something about the buzz of running back to the motor and getting a rod prepared with trembling hands after seeing a couple of fish chowing-down on a bit of bait you’ve put in, and that adrenaline rush when you get an explosive take and a greedy carp tries to drag your rod in can’t be beaten!
